In the poster, the duo is seen sitting on the roof of a building presumably in Paris, as we can see the Eiffel Tower far in the background. This will be the first movie in which Vaani and Ranveer play lead roles together. The actors have been spotted shooting in Paris for quite some time now.
The actress has posted behind the scenes pictures on Instagram. She was last seen in Shuddh Desi Romance with Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. Vaani also won the Filmfare for Best Female Debut of the year.
The actress, who boasted of the background in the poster while sharing it on Twitter, wrote, “This view from the top is breathtaking.” The movie is being directed by Aditya Chopra and the film will have plenty of intimate scenes between the actors.
The movie has been inspired by the Franco-Italian erotic drama Last Tango in Paris (1972) at least with regards to the steamy scenes. According to Box Office Capsule, Ranveer will have a nude scene in the movie.
Befikre is the second time that Aditya Chopra is directing a film after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. The movie is set to be released on December 9 this year.
