A complaint was filed against filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, in Goa, over his tweet on Women's Day. Social activist Vishaka Mhambrey filed a case against Ramu's tweet involving Sunny Leone. RGV has reciprocated by saying he will file a counter case asap.
And another complaint from Pratiksha Kargaonka from Ranaragini, the women's wing of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti wants Ram Gopal Varma's Twitter account to be blocked and Section 298 to be imposed on him for using indecent words and language against women. A few senior police officials are now looking into the matter.
Ram Gopal Varma, on the occasion of International Women's Day, took to Twitter to wish his fans and wrote, "I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives."

The tweet didn't go down well with Twitterati and Varma instantly received a major backlash on social media, and he even got into a face-off with NCP Leader Jitendra Ah-wad who said if Varma doesn't apologise he’ll have to face consequences and that the NCP cadre won't mind taking the law into their hands.
Later, he started to cover-up his previous tweets, he wrote, "All u illiterates who dint understand my earlier 2 tweets on @SunnyLeone atleast go through dictionary unless u are uneducated for that too.(sic)"
The director added, “@SunnyLeone doesn’t have millions following bcos of her body as 1000’s of women hv great bodies ..Her greatness is in standing by her pride.” RGV even declared that he would make a short film on Sunny Leone.
“Soon making short film on exposing sanctimoniousness of extremely antithetical multifarious perspectives on the phenomenon of @SunnyLeone. My short film on her phenomenon will bare the veiled centrally decomposed cogitations in all the mentally corroded naysayers of @SunnyLeone,” Varma posted.
RGV has mastered in doing publicity stunts and most of the time he works from his twitter handle to gain free publicity. He randomly tweeted on stars to grab attention last year and he created quite a lot of noise tweeting on actresses like Urmila Matondkar, Zareen Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, etc. The comments he made were pretty unflattering and looks like he is at it again and as usual in a very distasteful manner.
