Rajnikanth's son-in-law Dhanush now a hip-hop singer

The actor is now all set to record a Telugu hip-hop song in the upcoming Tollywood entertainer Thikka. 

The music for Thikka, which features Pawan Kalyan's nephew, Sai Dharam Tej in the lead, is composed by S. Thaman,  

Dhanush recorded the title track for the movie, Thikka Thikka in Thaman's studio in Chennai.

In an interview, Thaman says, "I composed the song with only Dhanush in my mind as the singer. I thought his voice would be apt for the situation and mood of the song." 

The music composer added "So, I sent Dhanush the track; he liked it and immediately agreed to lend his voice for this hip-hop song. He had no issues with the Telugu lyrics and finished the recording in just 25 mins. He had come well-prepared, as I had previously sent him the song."

Last year, Dhanush had sung a song in Kannada for Vajrakaya, as well.
