Synopsis

Eega is a 2012 movie and was made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil Sudeep played the antagonist in the movie, and his acting was appreciated across the nation The film was also dubbed in Hindi as Makkhi

 

Eega is a 2012 film bilingual fantasy film written by K V Vijayendra Prasad and directed by his son, S S Rajamouli was made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. It was named Naan Ee in Tamil and was later was dubbed in Hindi as Makkhi. Sudeep played the role of antagonist. His role was appreciated across the country, and deservingly he has won Nandi award for his role in the film.

 

It is a double happy moment for the film crew as SS Rajamouli has won best director for the same movie.

 

The Nandi Awards is the highest award ceremony presented by the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments. It is presented to those who excel in  Telugu cinema, Telugu Theatre, Telugu Television, and Lifetime achievements in Indian cinema. The award is named as Nandi after the big bull at the temple of Lepakshi, which is a cultural and historical symbol of the Telugu people.
