Star struck Junior NTR fan murders Pawan Kalyan’s fan

Synopsis

The murder happened after a heated argument over which actor was better Pawan Kalyan visited the victim's family and consoled them

A Pawan Kalyan fan was stabbed to death by Junior NTR’s fan on Sunday at an organ donation camp, after they got into an argument over which actor was better.

According to police officials, it all started when Vinod Kumar, a diehard Pawan Kalyan’s fan who is also a member of the Jan Sena party, was asked to deliver a speech at an organ donation camp in Kolar.

Witnesses claim that his speech angered Junior NTR’s fans, especially Askhay. The lot of them headed to a bar at Narasapura where an argument broke out between Kumar and Akshay over which actor was better. The banter went out of control and Akshay stabbed Kumar with a knife. Kumar was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Kolar police arrested Akshay on Monday.

While Junior NTR is the grandson of late actor and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister NT Rama Rao, Pawan Kalyan is the brother of popular Telgu actor Chiranjeevi. Both are popular south stars with large fan followings often seen arguing with each other in the name of fandom

Pawan Kalyan met the victim’s family in Tirupati and consoled them. According to a report in the NDTV, he said "Killing in the name of fandom is wrong. It's not just about my fans, it can be about fans of any actor."
