Tamil film director Chandrasekar hospitalised

The 71-year-old filmmaker, the father of Tamil movie actor Vijay, suffered head and spinal injuries due to the fall at a resort in Kumarakam, report said.

According to the neurologist,  Aneez Mustapha Malekkudy, he was brought to the hospital with head and back injuries while coming out of the bathroom. 

An MRI scan showed that the spinal chord was damaged. However, now hospital authorities said his condition is stable and satisfactory.
