Parvathy reveals why she doesn't like being called Lady Prithviraj

Synopsis

Parvathy said she considers Prithviraj a multifaceted talent 'I hope he doesn't feel insulted with people calling me that'

Parvathy's impressive performances in 'Bangalore Days', 'Ennu Ninte Moideen', 'Charlie' and 'Take Off', combined with her strong and fearless reactions to various issues even outside cinema, led some circles to draw comparisons with Prithviraj Sukumaran, earning her the nickname Lady Prithviraj.

However, Parvathy has stated that it is unfair because she considers Prithviraj a multifaceted talent.

"It's supposed to be a compliment, right? Prithviraj speaks his mind, so do I. But I hope he doesn't feel insulted with people calling me that. Prithviraj is a person who is thoroughly interested even in the technical aspects of films and can go on at length about them. But I am not like that," the actress said in a recent interview.

Parvathy and Prithviraj had acted together in 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' (2015), based on the real-life story of Kanchanamala and Moideen, which took place in the 1960s in Kozhikode.

The duo will be seen together again this year for 'My Story', directed by costume designer-turned-filmmaker Rishini Dinakar in her directorial debut.
