As per a report published in SpotboyE.com, a source close to Vidya said, "Vidya was okay until Wednesday evening when she suddenly felt uncomfortable. Blood tests taken on Thursday revealed that she is suffering from dengue."
Vidya, who has been busy with her work commitments and juggling two films at the same time, is not recovering at home. She recently came back from the US after completing a shooting schedule for Kahaani 2. She fell ill soon after the trip.
Vidya's preparations for the Kamala Surayya biopic have stopped, and Sujoy Ghosh’s sequel to the thriller Kahaani has been postponed.
In recent times, Bollywood actors like Sonam Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Rishi Kapoor, Yash Chopra, Lisa Haydon and Pooja Hegde have suffered from dengue.
