Talking about the experience, Nawazuddin said, "Featuring in a music album was completely new to me. But I enjoyed every part of it thoroughly. My experience of shooting for the song was absolutely delightful and this song will always hold a special place in my heart."

Sunanda Sharma, an actress and singer, plays the leading lady in the music video, Baarish ki Jaaye. Jaani wrote the lyrics for the song, and Desi Melodies did the production.
