National Award winner Jayasurya back with bang

We have seen a lot of action films this year. There have not been much from Malayalam film industry on this topic. But now we have a promising looking cop film called IDI whose full form is Inspector Dawood Ibrahim. You can guess from the title has to be some kind of action comedy and that is exactly what it is. Here’s the new poster of the film…

It shows actor Jayasurya in a superb police getup. He is looking really sharp in an officer’s uniform. He adds the coolness quotient to the entire look by sporting a pair of black shades and having a thick bushy moustache. But more than his looks, it is the action that will intrigue you. The poster shows Jayasurya holding two handguns in his hands as he looks ready to shoot. We can also a bright light behind him along with a few sparks.

Not just that, if you look closely at the name tag on his uniform, you will see his name is Dawood Ibrahim in the film. Overall, the poster gives the complete feeling of an action entertainer. It is funny to see that the characters name is the same as the notorious, real-life, underworld don. The poster also reminds us a bit of Mammootty’s upcoming cop film Kasaba with the entire background and the police theme.

It will certainly be exciting to see the National Award winning actor in action on August 12.
