Nana Patekar wants media to focus on farmers’ suicide not Pratyusha
Synopsis
The actor who is known for speaking his heart out spoke at length about farmers' suicide recently.
At a recent press meet, the Parinda actor requested media to focus on more sensitive issues rather than sensational news. He said that Pratyusha's suicide was an unfortunate event but questioned highlighting the news every day. He further added that how nobody pays attention to the suicide committed by farmers every day.
Nana Patekar along with Makrand Anaspure started an NGO called NAAM, which helps drought affected farmers and widows of those farmers who committed suicide.
