Mega shocker to Master's Kannada dubbed version, theatres witness almost nil booking

Synopsis

Thalapathy Vijay starrer Master that has created a craze across India may find it tough to sail through in theatres for its dubbed Kannada version as there are absolutely no takers. Leading theaters in Bengaluru showed its seats almost empty when checked at 3:30 pm on January 12.

With roughly 24 hours for the official release of Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Master' in theaters, in Karnataka's leading theaters, there were no takers for the Kannada dubbed version of the movie.

As per search on BookMyshow platform, when checked at 3:30 pm on 12 January, the PVR Forum Mall in Koramangala and Orion Mall Banaswadi showed its booking almost empty with hardly only five audiences occupying the seats in both the multiplexes.

This will be the first big film to hit theatres after 10 months of lockdown and shutting down of theatres following pandemic-enforced lockdown and Covid-19 protocols.

Interestingly, the theatres in Bengaluru, screening the same in Tamil version seats are filled and in few multiplexes, hardly few seats are left.
