Manju Warrier will play a postwoman and mother of a teenager. The film will also have Amala Akkineni who is making her come back in Mollywood after 25 years.
Actress Manju Warrier will play an offbeat role in her upcoming movie 'C/O Saira Banu'. Manju will essay the role of a postwoman and mother of 'Kismat' fame Shane Nigam in the film.
Directed by debutante filmmaker Antony Sony, the movie also stars the talented actress Amala Akkineni who is making a comeback to Mollywood after 25 years. With just a handful of movies in Malayalam, Amala left a lasting impression with her roles in 'Ente Sooryaputhrikku' and 'Ulladakkam.' Her characters in these movies are considered as the most powerful females in Mollywood films.
The shoot will begin in September, and the makers are planning to release the film by December. 'C/O Saira Banu is scripted by RJ Shaan and is produced by Eros International along with Mactro Films.
