According to an Indiaglitz report, in a recent interview, the actress revealed that it was a woman who was giving instructions to Pulsar Suni, the main accused, when she was being harassed in the car.

Earlier, one of the accused, Manikandan, had also mentioned this in his statement to the police.

The Kerala police team, which is investigating the case, rounded up several suspects in the last couple of months but is not known if they are probing the involvement of a woman.

The young actress was kidnapped and molested by a group of criminals in a moving car while she was travelling to Kochi from Thrissur on February 17, in an incident that shocked the country and the film industry in particular.

Police have arrested four culprits, including Pulsar Suni, in connection with the case.
