KGF tickets sold out ahead of release, Yash-starrer movie set to create record

There is a mad rush and all online tickets have been sold out. Online booking websites show that all screens are booked, and tickets have sold out for December 21. Bookings are filling up fast for Saturday and Sunday.

Bengaluru: Yash-starrer and Prashanth Neel directed much awaited movie KGF will release on December 21.  With one day still left for the release, the tickets in 99% of the movie theatres (where KGF is being screened) have been sold out in the state.

The film will release in five languages including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.

There is a mad rush and all online tickets have been sold out. People in Karnataka are heard calling up FM radio stations and even requesting RJs to give them a ticket for KGF.

Online booking websites show that all the screens are booked, and tickets have sold out for December 21. Bookings are filling fast for Saturday and Sunday.

The film was shot over two years and actor Yash did not accept any movie in between. He maintained his look for the movie for two years.

The movie is a period drama based on the stories of Kolar Gold Fields known as KGF in the 1970s. It was the time when gold was found in Kolar.

It is the story of a man from the Mumbai underworld, who goes to Kolar on an assignment only to find that he has a secret connection with the place and how he leads a movement as the anti-hero for a cause.

In fact, KGF will compete with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero releasing on the same day.
