Actor- Politician Kamal Haasan met Congress President Rahul Gandhi in his Delhi residence at 12, Tughlak Lane. Rahul Gandhi tweeted that they discussed a wide range of issues in both parties and that he enjoyed meeting Kamal Haasan.
Kamal Hassan was in the national capital to register his party 'Makkal Needhi Maiam', which was launched in February. He met the Election Commission (EC) regarding this. Talking to the media, he said that the party will soon be registered and the EC hasn't framed a specific date for registration.
The 63 year old actor-politician has a set of high level members consisting of 15 officials in his party.
