In Pics: Riding high on Kabali, Rajinikanth returns home

The star who has been breaking his own all-time of records with his latest release was reported to have gone to the US for surgery. However, on June 16, the superstars' spokesperson has denied such reports.

Rajini's Kabali opened to high numbers this weekend, but the man was not present in India to witness the madness. The movie, according to the makers of the film, smashed all box office records and earned ₹250 crore in India on the first day.

Kabali was released in almost 8,000-10,000 screens all over the globe, which includes 480 screens in the US, 490 in Malaysia and above 500 in Gulf countries. 

The fact that the Thalaiva has returned to Chennai is another reason for his fans to rejoice. As if Kabali didn't give them enough joy already!
