FIR against T Series MD Bhushan Kumar in alleged rape case

The Mumbai Police is expected to question and record the statement of Bhushan Kumar, who is yet to respond to the allegations.
Bhushan Kumar, Managing Director and Founder of T-Series has been accused of rape in Mumbai. An FIR has been registered against Kumar, at Mumbai’s DN Nagar police station after a woman claimed that Kumar allegedly raped her on the pretext of giving her a job in one of his future projects.
According to CNN-NEWS18, sources from Mumbai Police affirmed the development. “A case of rape under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). We are still investigating the matter," said a senior police officer on condition of anonymity.
According to reports, the victim is a 30-year-old woman and the Mumbai Police is now expected to question and record the statement of Bhushan Kumar.
