Farhan Akhtar got massively trolled after he took to his Twitter and wrote, "Go Girls!!!" mistakenly congratulated the Indian Women’s Hockey Team.

Today, the Indian Men’s Hockey Team created history after their win in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The team won a bronze medal by defeating Germany, and Indians across the world is quite excited. The whole nation is celebratory, and soon after the win, wishes started pouring in. From politicians to movie actors to cricketers, everyone has seen sharing their excitement on their social media pages. This is India's first win since the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

Toofaan actor Farhan Akhtar also shared his excitement on Twitter but got massively trolled. Yes, the actor took to his Twitter and wrote, "Go Girls!!! So proud of #teamIndia for showing exemplary fighting spirit and bringing in our 4th medal..super stuff. #Tokyo2020 #Hockey."

Farhan mistakenly congratulated the Indian Women’s Hockey Team rather than congratulating the blue men for bringing glory to the country. 

After realizing his mistake, Farhan immediately deleted the tweet and posting a new one. But some took the screenshot of the tweet and started sharing it and having a field day on Twitter.
