''A few days after the incident, allegations were raised against me. Some yellow journalists started a propaganda against me and even popular media organisations backed it. If the actress was subjected to physical harassment, I had to undergo mental trauma. I couldn't take the allegation. I even thought of ending my life. But it was the thought of my daughter, Meenakshi, made me to fight on," Dileep said in an interview with Manorama Online.
"The attack came as a shock for me. I have great respect for the actress for bouncing back from it but I am sad to note her silence on the matter. She has been active on social media even after the incident but she didn't bother clearing my name," the actor added.
