Despite demonetization, Sonakshi Sinha and John Abraham's action flick 'Force 2' opened to a thunderous applause on day 1 at the box office. 

Though the opening day collection of the film is slightly underwhelming that the opening day collection of its first part, taking in account the hussle and cash crunch the common man is facing, the film did manage to put out a brave start. The film also saw a 15% growth in the collections on the overall opening weekend. 

Even after the first weekend, the film has managed to maintain a steady pace.
