Churikatte Kannada movie had created a buzz with its interesting and gripping trailer. The crime thriller shot in the backdrop of sandalwood mafia and beautiful locations of Malnad is set for January 26 release.
The film is directed by Raghu Shivamogga of Chowkabara fame, which had won state award and SIMA award for the best short film. It is produced by first-time producers S Nayazuddin and M Thulasiramudu.
Praveen Tej of Jollydays and Simpallaginnond Love Story fame plays the protagonist opposite Prerana Kambam of Karali Express fame. Popular actor Achyut Kumar is in a prominent role along with Balaji Manohar playing the baddie in the movie.
The movie is about how an incident changes the lives beyond their expectations and how everyone becomes the victim of the situation, changing the fate of Churikatte village forever is the crux of the film.
