Screening of Tamil films suspended in Karnataka post Cauvery dispute Trisha's horror film - Nayaki - is one of them

 


Ever since the Cauvery protests began in Karnataka, a number of Tamil movies has been suspended from screening in the state. Trisha’s Nayaki is one of them.

 

The horror film was scheduled to release in Karnataka this week but due to the ongoing Cauvery protests the release has been postponed.

 

Trisha starrer Nayaki is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual being directed by Goverdhan Reddy. It's a retro-horror film set in the 1980s. 

 

Prior to this, Vikram’s Iru Mugan and Sasikumar’s Kidaari releases were also delayed.
