Britney Spears’ father James to step down as estate conservator, suggest reports

According to various media reports doing social media, Britney Spears' father would be stepping down as conservator of her estate. Last month, Britney launched a bid to remove him from guardianship, and she called it 'abuse'.

The documents shared by the media cite the legal paper which stated that James Spears would step back from the role. The reports say that there are no solid grounds for suspending or removing Spears as the conservator of the estate. The further documents state that James does not believe in a public battle with his daughter over his continuing service as her conservator. The legal reports suggest that James intends to work with the court and his daughter's new attorney to prepare a proper transition to a new conservator.

Welcoming the move, Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart said, that Britney's father and his lawyer have conceded in a filing that he must be removed and it is 'vindication' for the singer.
