Begum Jaan poster: Vidya Balan plays a brothel owner
Synopsis
The poster bears the tagline "My Body. My House. My Country. My Rules." The movie is directed by ace Bengali director Srijit Mukherji, releases on April 24.
The 38-year-old star took to Twitter to unveil the poster of the film in which she essays the titular role of a brothel owner.
"Aa rahi hoon main! #BegumJaanFirstLook @visheshfilms @srijitspeaketh," writes Vidya.
In the first glimpse, a unibrowed Vidya can be seen relaxing in a luxurious wooden chair wearing a ghaghra and deep-cut choli with the hookah pipe in her hand. A rifle can also be seen resting next to her.

Producer of the film, Mahesh Bhatt also tweeted, "What a woman! She will take you to a place in your heart to which you will never go. @visheshfilms."
