Baahubali villian Rana Daggubati breaks his wrist

Synopsis

He posted a picture of his bandaged wrist on Instagram and captioned it "Taped up my damaged wrist for full blown training soon!! #Baahubali."

However, the actor shrugged off the injury, telling Asianet Newsable via Twitter that it was a "small injury".

The actor was to begin shooting for the sequel of Baahubali from June. Rana has already started training for his role and has been maintaining a healthy diet of nine meals a day.

The actor had lost weight for his Bollywood film Ghazi. To pump up his biceps again for his ripped look as Bhallaladeva in Bahubali, he has been lifting heavy weights every morning and cardio workouts keeps him occupied in the evenings.

In an interview, Rana says, "The biggest challenge has been sticking to the training routine and eating like this for the next eight months!"

Rana, who played the negative role in the movie Baahubali, promises to be meaner and deadlier in the sequel.

The sequel to Baahubali directed by SS Rajamouli stars Telugu actor Prabhas in the lead role and is slated for release on April 14 next year.
