According to the latest information, the makers of Master, who were dejected to have missed the April 9 release due to lockdown, are now planning to make the most of Thalapathy Vijay's birthday on June 22. It is said that makers are now planning to release the much-awaited Tamil film on June 22.

What? Thalapathy Vijay's Master to be out on his birthday on June 22?

If sources are to be believed, director Lokesh Kanagraj's much-anticipated Tamil film, Master, will be released on June 22, which will coincide with Thalapathy Vijay's birthday. 

The film that was supposed to release on April 9 as a gift to fans during Tamil Puttandu (Tamil New Year), had to be postponed due to coronavirus lockdown. 

As the country first went into lockdown from March 24 to April 14, the makers were hoping to release the film later this month. However, due to lockdown  extension, the makers are now contemplating a June 22 release to coincide with Kollywood superstar Vijay’s birthday.

The Government of India has now extended the lockdown till May 3 to blunt the spread of deadly coronavirus. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj hopes the situation will ease gradually and has planned to release the teaser in May and the film’s release on June 22.

The film has some powerful actors besides Vijay. The new sensation Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in and earlier in January when the motion posters were released, the fans went crazy to see both Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in one frame.
