Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma looks haunted in Pari first look. Besides acting, Anushka will also co-produce the film, and its shooting begins today (13 June).
Starring Anushka and Bengali star Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead, the film marks the debut of Prosit Roy. In the poster, Anushka looks nothing like a Pari, which means angel. With her haunting eyes, she looks scary. Her intense looks will send chills down your spine.
After playing the good spirit in the romantic comedy Phillauri opposite Diljit Dosanjh earlier this year, it will be exciting to see Anushka in another of her home production. The movie is produced under Anushka Sharma's home production, Clean Slate Films and KriArj collaborated.
In an interview, Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment stated, “Pari is a fantastic story. It promises an intriguing and engaging cinematic experience for the audience.”
Speaking about Pari, Kahaani frame Parambrata Chatterjee said, "I an in love with the script and team of Pari, and I am excited to work with Anushka Sharma. This film holds great promise, and I look forward to its shoot soon."
The 29-year-old actress took to Twitter to share the intense poster of her character.
"Pari...First Look @OfficialCSFilms @kriarj @paramspeak #PariFirstLook," Anushka wrote alongside the poster.
Anushka had said, “At Clean Slate Films, we entirely focus on a good, engaging plot above all else. With new talent, we get to work on newer ideas and innovative concepts. Pari is a great script, and I have complete faith in Prosit Roy’s vision as well as this collaboration with KriArj Entertainment.”
On the work front, Anushka will be seen romancing Shah Rukh Khan in director Imtiaz Ali's next film, Jab Harry Met Sejal. She is also shooting for Aanand L Rai’s untitled film with SRK and Katrina Kaif.
