Amitabh Bachchan turns lawyer in Shoojit Sircar’s PINK

Synopsis

Chowdhury helmed the 2006 National award-winning film Antaheen, with Rahul Bose and Radhika Apte in the lead.

PINK also stars Taapsee Pannu. Big B will be seen playing a lawyer and he is almost through shooting for his part and got a bit emotional about the whole journey.

The star wrote on his blog: “The relish with which films are made is a film by itself... working on the final days of ‘PINK’ is a delight and a nightmare simultaneously and not necessarily in that order .. hahaha .. the pages and pages of lines is well beyond human consumption for me at this moment .. and so this missive is short and hopefully sweet .. I must retire and cling onto the script in bed to learn and revise and learn again the masses of words that what this gentleman above has to speak or express .. it is after all the love of the profession that brings us all together .. and so the love of your concern for me shall also be much loved and appreciated ..The problem with being the senior-most on such sets is the belief by all else except myself that ‘all shall be well’ ..”

He also posted some more pictures of the shooting. Have a look.

This is the third time, after the unreleased Shoebite and last year's hit Piku, that Shoojit Sircar teamed up with this cast.
