Restricted in TN, Kabali to get 300 screens in Indonesia

Synopsis

A significant portion of the movie, which also happens to be Rajinikanth's 159th film, has been shot in Malaysia. Malik Streams recently distributed the Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer, Theri, which was released in over 200 screens in the South-east Asian countries.

However, because of an ongoing dispute between the theatre owners and exhibitors of Tamil Nadu, Kabali won't be screened in theatres at Chengalpet, Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur.
