Amitabh Bachchan gets his first jab of Covid-19 vaccine and shares the news on his Twitter account; read on.

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan received the coronavirus vaccine. Taking it to his social media account, the veteran actor shared the news with his fans.

"Got it done! My Covid vaccination this afternoon," tweeted Mr Bachchan, sharing his health update as sorts added, "All well".

Big B was tested positive for Covid-19 last year and was admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital. He tested negative in a few weeks.

His son Amitabh Bachchan also tested positive for the virus, so his wife Aishwarya Rai and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan had also gone under eye surgery twice in the recent past. One in February and one in March.

The actor was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo. He has a few films lined up and will be sharing the screen with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in Brahmastra.
