Akshay Kumar pens a heartfelt note for his Rakshabandan director Aanand L Rai

Akshay Kumar took to his social media account and wrote an emotional note for his director Aanand L Rai.

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar and Aanand L Rai are all set to amaze the audience with two sets of film: Atrangi Re, starring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, and another Rakhshabandha that stars Bhumi Pednekar. Now after the schedule wrap of the film in Mumbai, Kumar took to his social media account penning a sweet note for Aanad L Rai, beautifully summing up his experience on the film set.

Talking of Aanand L Rai and the rest of the team, Akshay Kumar wrote lovingly, “I’m already missing walking down these streets of Chandni Chowk. Even though it was a make-believe set…you made it look so real, take a bow @sumitbasu62. My wonderful co-star @bhumipednekar , thank you for providing the right balance with your splendid talent. And @aanandlrai sir…what can I say about you, besides that you’re a wizard and today as we wrap up the Mumbai schedule of #RakshaBandhan, I know I’m leaving the set a better actor (sic).”

Aanand L Rai reverted to the sweet note from Akshay Kumar. He wrote, “Thank you for your kind words 
@akshaykumar sir and deriving truth in this make believe story …I think I  am also walking out of the sets as a better man...a man who believes in stories, more than before... Love you for all the love and affection (sic).”

Aanand L Rai’s Rakshabandhan is a story about a brother’s love for his sisters. The film was announced on Rakshabandhan 2020, and Akshay Kumar dedicated the movie to his sister, Alka.
