25-year-old struggling model commits suicide

The 25-year-old model, who was reportedly struggling to make it in the glamour industry, was named Karamjeet Kaur.
The model had flown to Mumbai from Delhi to stay at her friend's place at Four Bungalows, a locality in suburban Mumbai. She was discovered hanging from the ceiling a day before Eid.
According to police reports, when Karamjeet's friend returned from work to the flat, he realised that the door was locked from the inside but received no response from Karamjeet. Later, the friend contacted the police after which they found the model's lifeless body hanging from the ceiling.
Mumbai Police is conducting a preliminary investigation into the matter and is questioning the model's male friend, but there is no confirmation about the alleged suicide or the reason behind it.
