'Shubho Nabo Barsho': PM Modi extends Poila Boishakh greetings

Synopsis

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said: "A New Year and a resolve for new beginnings and progress for the great land of West Bengal!"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the people of Bengal on the occasion of Poila Boishakh.

Poila Boishakh, also known as Bangla Noboborsho, is the first day of the Bengali calendar and is celebrated as new year's day.

 

 

In the video, the Prime Minister said: "A New Year and a resolve for new beginnings and progress for the great land of West Bengal!"

Four phases of voting are over in West Bengal with four more rounds remaining. The fifth round of voting will be held on April 17.
