Let's take at some of the promises made in the manifesto:

* Rs 2000 monthly pension to homemakers and 5kg free rice to all white cardholders

* Ban on strikes and forced closures

* Creation of a ministry of happiness

* Welfare pension to be increased to Rs 3000 per month.

* Special law for the protection of Sabarimala tradition

* Rupees 5,000 each to auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers

* Five lakh people will be given homes free of cost

* Rs 6 lakh as home allocation funds for families belonging to backward classes such as SC, ST

* 100 units of free electricity in every bill.

* The irregularities in the Life Mission project will be probed.

* An automated system will come in place for generating employment vacancies and appointment memos to prevent any delay in PSC appointments.

* Fishermen will be provided with subsidies for diesel and petrol. 

* Will better the ranking of ease of doing business in Kerala. Will ensure starting of small business in 30 days.

* Fast track clearance for women in availing loans for business.

* Minimum labour wages in the state will be fixed at Rs 700. 

* Universities for Ayurveda and Sports.

* Pravasi rehabilitation schemes with the help of immigration funds. 

* State Vigilance Commission to be formed to ensure a corruption-free Kerala.

* Will initiate steps to provide voting rights for the Diaspora.
