Exit Poll has projected the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led alliance comprising Congress and others to emerge victorious over the AIADMK and its allies allowing MK Stalin to likely become the CM for the first time ever.

Every major news network has come up with its projection on who will emerge victorious in the Tamil Nadu 2021 Assembly elections.

Before the votes are counted on May 2, the pollsters are back in business. The exit polls were released at around 7 pm Thursday after the polling for the eighth phase of West Bengal elections concluded.

MK Stalin's DMK and allies are forecast to win at least 175 seats, while the AIADMK and its allies are predicted to win 57 seats. TTV Dhinakaran's AMMK is likely to win 2 seats, according to the poll of exit polls.

We have compiled a poll of polls for you to help you understand the popular choice in the Tamil Nadu 2021 Assembly election.

DMK and its allies are projected to easily cross the halfway mark in the 234-seat Assembly and obtain absolute majority with MK Stalin's party projected to emerge as the single-largest party. Apart from DMK & allies, the incumbent AIADMK (NDA's 'big brother' in Tamil Nadu) is squaring off against actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan's MNM which has allied with AISMK, IJK and TTV Dhinakaran's AMMK which has joined hands with SDPI, Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM and 'Captain' Vijaykanth's DMDK.

This was the first state election since the deaths of J Jayalalithaa (who died in 2016) and M Karunanidhi (who died in 2018) - both were among Tamil Nadu's most iconic political leaders, and their absence left a power vacuum many raced to fill.
