Sandalwood drug case: CCB issues notice to 2 more actors, Congress leader’s son

Sandalwood actors Akul Balaji and Santhosh, along with Congress leader RV Devaraj’s son Yuvaraj RV have received notices from the CCB on Friday (September 18).


Bengaluru: After Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjjanaa Galrani, Aindrita Ray and Diganth few more celebrities have been asked to appear before the CCB on Friday.   

Sandalwood actor Santhosh, anchor Akul Balaji and Congress leader RV Devaraj’s son Yuvaraj RV have received notices from the CCB.

All three of them have been asked to summon to the CCB at 10:30am on Saturday, September 19

The three of them were sent notices after the CCB reportedly found pictures of them along with the accused in the case.

Sandalwood actor Santhosh did not deny attending parties with the accused but denied consumption of drugs. The actor claimed that he is in Mysuru for a family event and will be back in Bengaluru by night.

Speaking to Asianet Kannada Akul Balaji confirmed that he has received a notice and will appear before the CCB on Saturday.

The anchor stated that he is currently in Hyderabad with his family and will return to Bengaluru by Saturday morning.

The anchor claimed that the CCB has called him for an enquiry regarding some FIR which has been registered.

When Asianet Kannada contacted RV Devaraj’s son Yuvaraj RV, the politician’s son claimed that he did not know why the notice was sent to him but stated that he will cooperate with the CCB.

Yuvaraj RV also stated that he did not know anyone linked in the Sandalwood drug scandal and none of them are his friends.
