After Madhya Pradesh cop, Odisha official arrested for torturing wife

Odisha's deputy collector is the latest to join into what might become a list of cheating husbands and wife abusers. His wife accused him of trashing her after she allegedly caught him with his former lover
Few days after the video showing a senior IPS officer from Madhya Pradesh pinning his wife to the ground after she caught him in an compromising position made the rounds, an deputy collector (DC) from Odisha was arrested based on a complaint by his wife.
The arrested DC is identified as Sarat Chandra Bag, accused of torturing his wife.

As per reports, Bag is accused of infidelity and inflicting physical torture to his wife and was arrested on Tuesday following a complaint of Saturday.
“My husband was having an affair. I had caught him red-handed with his ex-lover. Later, my husband and his associates snatched my mobile and thrashed me,” Bag’s wife was reportedly quoted as saying earlier.
