Virat Kohli shares celebratory video after reaching 100 million followers on Instagram

Virat Kohli is the current skipper of Team India, leading the side across formats. He is rated as the best batsman in the world and has immense fan-following globally, across social media. Recently, he became the first Indian to score 100 million followers on Instagram.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli continues to be one of the best batsmen globally, alongside Joe Root, Steve Smith and Kane Williamson. Owing to his prolificness, he keeps scripting records with almost every passing game.

As a result, he has attracted extensive fan-following worldwide, while his social media fan-following keeps escalating. On the same note, he recently garnered more than 100 million followers on Instagram, as he became the first Indian to record the feat.

To celebrate the same, Kohli shared a celebratory video of attaining the milestone. He collaged some of his most-liked photos in the video, besides thanking his followers and supporters for their undying assistance. In the caption, he wrote, "You have made this journey beautiful. Feeling blessed and grateful for all the love. Thank you ❤️ 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ million #instafam."

Kohli's fan-following is not just limited to his cricketing life, but his personal life as well. Getting married to Bollywood bombshell Anushka Sharma has also helped him garner more supporters, thus sky-rocketing his followers. He recently became the father of a baby girl named Vamika, who Anushka gave birth to in January.

He is currently leading Team India in the continuing four-Test series against England for the Anthony de Mello Trophy, with his side leading 2-1. At the same time, the final Test would be played in Ahmedabad from Thursday.
