Kieron Pollard is an all-rounder who plays for Windies and is also the reigning skipper of the side in Twenty20 Internationals. Herschelle Gibbs and Yuvraj Singh are the only others to have smashed six sixes in an over of international cricket, while Pollard becomes second in T20Is.

Windies all-rounder Kieron Pollard etched his name in the history books after he smashed six sixes in an over of international cricket. During the first Twenty20 International against Sri Lanka at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua, he attained the feat on Wednesday.

During the sixth over of the Windies chase when spinner Akila Dananjaya was handed the task of troubling Pollard after Windies was 52/3 following a hat-trick by the former. However, Pollard had different intentions, as she went all guns blazing over Dananjaya.

While the first one was smacked over long-on, the second was into the sightscreen, followed by the third was over long-off. The fourth went over deep mid-wicket, followed by the fifth straight over the bowler's head, in what was somewhat a mistimed shot. Nonetheless, it all ended sweet for Pollard, who smashed the final ball over deep mid-wicket once again.
