IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals' epic jersey launch show leaves fans in aww (Watch video)

Rajasthan Royals is a former champion of the Indian Premier League, having won the title in 2008. The side managed to finish at the bottom last season and would be aiming to change its fortunes this season under Sanju Samson's leadership.

As far as Rajasthan Royals is concerned in the Indian Premier League, fans remember the side as the champion during the inaugural edition. It had won its maiden and only title to date under the leadership and guidance of Shane Warne.

However, since then, it hasn't really managed to click and has more or less become the minnows of the competition, as it finished at the bottom of the table last season. Nonetheless, it would be aiming to turn things around this season under the captaincy of Sanju Samson.

Ahead of the new season, RR conducted a show on its official jersey launch for the season. With fans being disallowed from entering the venues, the show was put online.

RR shared a video of the same on its social media handles, where its home ground, Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, was lit up and decorated uniquely. The giant screen at the venue played a video involving its official sponsor Red Bull.

As finally, the jersey was launched, fireworks shot up in the sky at the venue, giving the occasion a spectacular look. The show was acclaimed by some RR cricketers, including all-rounder Chris Morris, who is the most expensive buy in IPL's history this season.

RR captioned the post, "Pink. Blue. 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥. 🔥😍 Our #IPL2021 jersey is here. #HallaBol | #RoyalsFamily | #IPL2021 | @redbull | @redbullindia".

The franchise also shared another video of the same, informing that the jerseys' sale for the fans was live now. This video was captioned, "𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. 💗"
