Shane Watson, who has been under criticism for not up to the mark performance, revealed the tragic incident that has met his family. Ahead of the DC vs CSK clash on Friday, the former lost his grandmother, Ritchie (mom’s mom), who passed away on Wednesday.
Shane Watson, who has been the performer for CSK, has been unable to play his big innings in this season. In the opening game against MI, he scored mere four runs.
Looked promising against RR, but could not take his innings to a greater height. The third match, ahead of the trauma, already saw his poor performance of 14 runs because of the unstable mind.
The veteran wanted to be with his family in the hour of grief and had to send apologies for not being there. “I want to send my love to my family back at home and I know how incredible mom was my grandmother to my mom. My heart goes out to my family at home. I’m sorry that I can’t be there right now. My love goes to you,” Shane Watson said on his YouTube show ‘The Debrief’.
