On Wednesday, it defeated Afghanistan by 66 runs in its Group 2 Super 12 clash of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The win has given India its first win of the tournament, keeping its chances for semis alive.
