The Indian film industry was saddened by the demise of legendary Indian actor Dilip Kumar. Aged 98, he passed away on Wednesday at PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai while he had prostate cancer. His wife, Saira Banu, survives him.

Dilip was considered one of the most iconic actors in the Bollywood industry, who created a revolution in the Indian film industry. Following his demise, many have termed it as the 'End of an Era'.

While the entire Indian film industry mourns his death along with the nation, the same is being done by the Indian sports fraternity. Sportspersons from across verticles paid their tribute to the Indian movie legend, as we take a look at a few:
