Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal among Indian cricketers to share memory on #PehliChhalaang trend

Chhalaang is a movie exclusively produced by Amazon Prime Video, which releases on Thursday. Indian cricketers, along with a wrestler, have been among sportspersons who have featured in the official #PehliChhalaang trend, as they share their memory on the same.

The World premiere of the much-awaited film Chhalaang is just a couple of clock hours away to release on Amazon Prime Video. Nusshrat Bharuccha, on her social media, took to share her life’s Pehli Chhalaang moment and this inspirational trend took many down the memory lane. This trend has now taken over social media.

Indian cricketer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar joined the trend and feeling nostalgic, shared his life’s Pehli Chhalaang with the caption, “Throwback to the days when I took my Pehli Chhalaang towards my goal of becoming a cricketer. Feeling nostalgic already, good old golden days!! Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat  Share your story using #ChhalaangOnPrime @PrimeVideoIN”.

Yuzvendra Chahal, too, shared, “My father always wanted me to play chess and while I enjoyed it, my first love was always cricket. I did play chess till the age of 10, but my first chhalaang was when I took up cricket professionally, and the rest is history. Share your story using #ChhalaangOnPrime @PrimeVideoIN”.

Mithila Raj, captain of the Women’s Indian Cricket team, shared, “Chhoti umar se hi sports ka bohat josh tha. Abhi tak yaad hai 1990 ka Sub Junior Tournament jeetne ki khushi. Directed by Hansal Mehta, Chhalaang is a Luv Films production, presented by Gulshan Kumar & Bhushan Kumar, produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg. The film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Satish Kaushik, Zeeshan Ayyub, Ila Arun and Jatin Sarna in pivotal roles. Chhalaang is all set for a bombastic Diwali premiere only on Amazon Prime Video on November 13.

Chhalaang is a hilarious, yet inspirational journey of a PT master from a semi government-funded school in Northern India. Montu (Rajkummar Rao) is a typical PT master, for whom it is just a job.
