Suspected COVID-19 patient jumps out from 3rd floor of AIIMS building

Synopsis

According to reports, a patient suspected to have contracted COVID-19 jumped out of the 3rd floor of AIIMS in Delhi  


New Delhi: A suspected coronavirus patient allegedly tried to commit suicide at AIIMS Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre building in New Delhi. In the attempt, the 37-year-old man fractured his leg. He is now in stable condition.

He is a resident of Delhi’s Mata Sundri Road. He was admitted to hospital on March 31.

It is reported that the man jumped from the third floor of the trauma centre this morning. 

The results of his samples sent to test for ccoronavirus is still pending.
