Rajinikanth to Mohanlal: South Indian celebs light up candles

Synopsis

South Indian celebrities took part in the initiative taken amid the coronavirus lockdown to show unity in the fight against COVID-19.   

While calling for Diya Jalao campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked people to to light lamps on April 5 at 9 pm for 9 minutes. From Mohanlal to Rajinikanth, a host of celebs lit up candles.

In a video, superstar Rajinikanth was seen holding a candle.

Mohanlal was seen standing with his wife Suchithra and son Pranav Mohanlal, with candles and diyas in his house.

Dulquer Salmaan and his family too joined the league by posting a pic and captioned it, "Standing in solidarity, unity and brotherhood! Together, we shall over come!".
