COVID-19 rehabilitation: Siddaganga Mutt donates Rs 50 lakh to Karnataka CM relief fund

Synopsis

Responding to the call given by PM Modi and Karnataka CM Yediyurappa as India fights the coronavirus spread, Siddaganga Mutt has donated Rs 50 lakh to the CM relief fund 

Tumakuru: One of the famous mutts in India, Siddaganga Mutt in Karnataka's Tumakuru, donated Rs 50 lakh to the CM relief fund.

Siddalinga Swami, the chief pontiff of the mutt, along with his subordinates, reached the residence of district in-charge Maduswamy and handed over the cheque worth Rs 50 lakh. 

The mutt, under the leadership of former pontiff Shivakumara Swamiji, had set an example in the field of service offering free education. 

The mutt is very powerful and draws the attention of politicians across party lines. 

The legacy of service still continues and the Rs 50 lakh contribution was made towards the government's efforts in fighting coronavirus.
