Hack The Mountains 5.0 Unleashes Innovation at Gujarat's Marwadi University

Hack the Mountains 5.0 held on September 14 and 15 at Marwadi University. This constant 30-hour hackathon was filled with ideation, creation and application of tech solutions to solve real-world problems. The event was a blend of mentor session, learning, collaboration, networking, fun activities and much more.

On September 14th and 15th, Sudans tech organised the fifth of Hack the Mountains, also known as HTM 5.0, at Marwadi University, Gujarat. Hack The Mountains 5.0, a hybrid hackathon, provides tech students a platform to utilize their tech prowess and turn their creative ideas into solutions to tackle real world challenges.

During the hackathon, teams collaborated and coded to solve real-world challenges, learned from top industry mentors and from their learning sessions, competed for amazing prizes, and shaped the future of tech with their innovative ideas.

The event proved to be a hub of creativity and problem-solving, with groundbreaking projects and solutions emerging over a 30-hour of intense period.

Team VR Vortex secured a first position in the offline category for its unique virtual reality experience, which offers various VR features to learners. It was a thoughtful idea that they developed a website for affordable learning and the transformative use of thrilling virtual reality technologies.

In the online category, Team Z3GION emerged as the winners owing to their special mobile application for the disabled people, including those with vision problems. It helps the user perform daily activities independently with the help of a personal assistant like program which works much like Google assistant.

As Hack The Mountains 5.0 winds up, interests within participants and the audience was raised on the possible ways that technologies continue to be applicable in the betterment of the world.
