Principal Economic Advisor Sanjeev Sanyal harassed by customer care

Finance Ministry's Principal Economic Advisor Sanjeev Sanyal has claimed harassment from Vodafone Idea customer care executives.

Taking to Twitter, Sanyal said that he had shifted two months ago from Vodafone-Idea to another provider after paying all his dues. 

However, the Principal Economic Advisor said he was being hounded on a daily basis for random new charges varying from Rs 938 to Rs 146.

Following his posts on the micro-blogging site, Vodafone-Idea reached out to Sanyal and informed him that the particular matter will be resolved.

I have just been called by Vi senior management to be told that my particular matter will be resolved. However, it is not about my personal problem. Will get to the bottom of this and resolve it for everyone.

However, the Principal Economic Advisor is adamant and intends to get to the bottom of the issue.

It is not about my personal problem, he said, adding that he would resolve this issue for everyone.
